Starting in September, the Safavi Impact Institute will expand its services for Ukrainians in Vienna. Following the closure of one of the city’s largest community centres for Ukrainians, the Institute is introducing additional counselling and support services.

A new education counselling service will provide guidance on education and training opportunities, retraining and career transitions in Austria. The Institute is also expanding its psychological counselling services.

In addition, the Institute will offer information sessions on integration in Austria, covering the Austrian labour market, education pathways and career opportunities, as well as social and cultural orientation.

The Institute is also expanding its range of labour-market-oriented German courses. The new semester, starting in September, will focus on profession-specific language courses for different professional groups.

With these expanded services, the Safavi Impact Institute is responding to the current counselling and professional development needs of Ukrainians in Vienna and supporting their integration into the Austrian labour market.
