Together with the Kompetenzzentrum Sicherheit Österreich (KSÖ) and Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien, the Safavi Impact Institute hosted a special Christmas gathering on 17 December 2025. The event brought together Ukrainian women who are building their professional paths in Austria and combined professional input with personal exchange and a festive atmosphere.
The afternoon began with two workshops focused on the Austrian labour market. Alexandra Wusem-Langeder, HR Business Partner at Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien, shared insights into recruiting processes, employer expectations and key success factors in applications. For many participants, this provided clear and practical guidance on what truly matters when applying for jobs in Austria.
This was followed by a motivating and encouraging session led by job and career coach Elisabeth Wieninger. Drawing on experience from more than 300 job and career coaching sessions, she spoke about self-confidence, new perspectives and constructive ways of dealing with setbacks. Her talk resonated strongly with many participants and offered orientation during a phase often marked by uncertainty and high expectations.
After the workshop programme, the event transitioned into an open and informal setting. Live music with Ukrainian Christmas melodies, a buffet and personal conversations created space for networking, connection and shared reflection at the end of the year. The evening offered a moment to pause, connect and support one another beyond formal formats.
With this Christmas gathering, the Safavi Impact Institute once again demonstrated how professional integration can be approached holistically – through knowledge, exchange and community.
