On December 11, the Safavi Impact Institute concluded its ninth “German for Accounting” course.
The course provided participants with the core professional language of Austrian accounting, along with selected topics in payroll accounting and labour law. The focus was on the practical use of specialised German in typical workplace situations, including internal communication and exchanges with tax advisors and public authorities.
The impact of this approach is clearly reflected in the outcomes. One in three participants of the Institute’s accounting courses has, following the course and with additional support in the employment and integration process, either secured a job in Austria or begun further education. This result highlights the value of specialised language training that is closely aligned with professional practice and labour market requirements.
For the Austrian labour market, this form of targeted integration support delivers tangible benefits. It helps activate qualified professionals, make existing skills usable and address skills shortages in key sectors in a structured way.
The course concluded with a joint visit to a Christmas market, offering participants an informal space for exchange and social integration beyond the learning environment.
With the completion of its ninth course, the Safavi Impact Institute continues its work to strengthen sustainable prospects for both participants and the Austrian labour market.
