New Integration Counselling at the Safavi Impact Institute

Aug 27
1 min read

Starting on 8 September, the Safavi Impact Institute will offer a new integration counselling service for Ukrainians in Vienna. The service helps identify suitable resources for each individual situation and facilitates access to specialised counselling services, organisations and public institutions.

The consultation focuses on individual needs. Relevant services and organisations are identified, and practical next steps are discussed. Through its network of partner organisations, the Safavi Impact Institute can establish direct contacts and help coordinate appropriate support when needed.

The consultation covers a range of areas, including:

  • Education and qualifications: education and training opportunities, retraining, and the recognition or nostrification of foreign qualifications;

  • Legal and social matters: information on specialised services and available support;

  • Family and parenting: counselling and support services for parents and families;

  • Psychological support: access to appropriate psychological counselling and support services;

  • Working life: Austrian workplace culture, employee rights and support in resolving workplace conflicts;

  • Residence: information on the relevant services for residence-related matters, including the Red-White-Red Card Plus.

The integration counselling service serves as a first point of contact for a wide range of questions related to integration in Austria. It does not replace specialised legal, social or psychological counselling. Instead, each case is assessed to determine what type of support is needed, which organisation is responsible and how the relevant services can be accessed.

Questions related specifically to finding a job, including job searches, application documents and job interviews, will continue to be covered by our job counselling service.
