“German for the Office” Course Successfully Completed

With the completion of the “German for the Office” course in the fall semester 2025, the Safavi Impact Institute has concluded another specialised language training programme designed to support the professional integration of Ukrainian women in Austria.

The course was aimed at participants at B1+ to B2 level and focused on language skills that are essential for office work in Austria. Particular emphasis was placed on confident and appropriate communication in typical workplace situations, as well as on understanding key organisational and labour-law contexts.

In office environments, linguistic nuance, established conventions and the ability to navigate both formal and informal communication play a critical role in successful integration. The course addressed these requirements directly and helped participants apply their existing professional qualifications more effectively in the Austrian working environment.

Through programmes such as this, the Safavi Impact Institute contributes to the integration of qualified Ukrainian women into the Austrian labour market and supports the sustainable use of existing skills.
